Hi Kennie, oh you will like the fair. I use to enter but now I only go and look. I have won several ribbons but I really just don't have the time anymore.

Hello, Those bunny slippers are so cute. They look like our bunny leo. He is a 12 lb. white new zealand rabbit. I have been making crochet socks, mittens, and scarf. I just love the crochet socks patterns. I found this website and she has the best sock pattern and other stuff. http://www.crochetandknitting.com Have a great day!! Hugs to EVA Too!!

Oh! I have that Scrap Wraps Book, it's published by Leisure Arts, not Lion Brand...by the way.
I've made two of the Color Bands afghan- one for my Dad, and the other for my Uncle Allen. (For both of them, I didn't even use the color scheme in the model picture- I DID use the black, but with the scraps I had on hand. (May I suggest another GREAT Scrap Yarn afghan Pattern? If you have "The Ulitmate Book of Scrap Afghans, published by ASN, the "Festive Journey" ghan works up like a dream.. The only thing I did differently is made the panels oval rather than rectangular.)
As for what I'm working on, I still have the Grandmother's Flower Garden ghan going- ( Have half the gold motifs, the kelly green, dark green, and the off white motif's to go- as well as assembling it.), a baby afghan that is half finished, and bath gift basket items....- I'm always crocheting on something! That's pretty much what I've been crocheting on lately! (Last night I finished off two soap savers and a tissue tote- sort of like a slip cover for those purse/pocket sized packages of kleenex...) LOL Merwyn, I have to do the same with MY two furbabies on legs- my cat, Abbey just delights in batting at the yarn, and attempting to chew on it..my dog, Molly delights in knocking Abbey into my scrap yarn tub...doggy nose to kitty bottom, and up and over she goes! LOL...(Molly usually gets her little nose batted when she does it...Molly just wags her tail like it's the thing to do, despite the fact that Abbey isn't exactly enthused with the little nudge up and over!) Doesn't seem to matter WHAT I'm crocheting, Molly thinks her right, and proper place is between myself and what I'm crocheting on, OR snuggling herself into what ever ghan I'm making that's draped over my lap as I stitch.... We use to have 3 cats (one is mysteriously missing) My first two cats were well not that much fun, we love them but they were not players, very picky eaters (they wouldn't even eat a shrimp), so along comes goldie. My husband called me one day from his jobsite and said, Can we have another one, it's abandoned so of course I said yes. This cat has been a source of amusement. We have of course come to an understanding about my yarn, she has to have her own if I crochet. She helps me out whenever possible, she goes into my craft room and removes all the yarn from the upper shelves. Now she does not lay up there, she just doesn't want the yarn up there !!!! Both cats practically live in my craft room, when they are not helping me out with my yarn, one lays on top of the tv and the other likes it on my sewing machine.
