I feel for you, Jessica. My parents were terrible to me, well, my mom was anyway. Throughout my entire childhood my mother singled me out and hurt me a lot. As a teen a hurt myself and tried to kill myself, and sometimes I didn't know why. When I tried to confide in my mother, she told me that I was a liar and then told everybody she and I knew about what I had told her. She would make me see all kinds of doctors, but before I could meet with them she would take them back and tell them, this is what she's going to say, and it's a lie. So I never got any help for the problems I went through. My mother did a lot of worse things to me, so personal that I do not want to mention anything else. But my point is, you will get through it. Today, my heart is stone cold towards my mother and I have no love for her at all, but I still talk to her. I treat her with respect. I treat her as if nothing ever happened. Everything is fine in my life when I'm not living with her. So just remember, you won't be a teen forever. Like some of these women said before, get into college and make a life for yourself. Be bigger than your parents would ever expect you to be.
