For those of you in the Doylestown, PA area (my old stomping grounds!), Heronswood/Fordhook Gardens is having its first Annual Open this weekend, July 14th and July 15th, 2006. They will be showcasing Hydrangeas, with the world-renowned Dr. Michael Dirr presenting. Hydrangeas make great centerpieces for bulb gardens and many provide year-round interest.

I know it's short notice, but those of you in the area might want to take a look. It should be a great show! Go to heronswood.com for more information.

If anyone decides to go, how about posting to let us know how it was?
