The other night on "The Newlyweds" Jessica was wearing what looks to be either a crocheted or knitted headband. I was wondering if anyone had seen a pattern for something like this or if someone may know a way to make it. I think it is too cute.

In my opinion, the headband looks like a thin version of a summer scarf. I'd try by ch 10 or 15 (or however thick you'd like it to be) then just do an openworked pattern like dc, ch 2, sk 2 ch,dc and repeat across. This seems like the perfect project to experiment with! Yes that is just a sort of filet crochet open mesh pattern that is really easy. I think that I will try and make Ms. Simpson something very nice and send it with a Thank You note, she certainly has been a huge help with making crochet very popular again.

Looks like an long treble crochet to me.
Just 3 spaces , then a change of colors was done or they used a multicolored yarn every so many rows.

Well I believe I have figured it out. It turned out to be really simple to make and it stays in really well. I would post a pic but I don't know how.
