Hi,

I'm 20 I been shaving my legs since I was about 16.

I stopped shaving with a razor becuase I have these brown spots on my legs, they look like dark brown freckles,(its where my hair grows from on my legs) and I'm light skin so you can see it good (lol). I hate wearing shorts and skirts because of this. Is there anything I can use that will get rid of this or cover it up.

Thanks

Freckles may be very light to begin with, but become accentuated with expposure to the sun.

Cover up with a strong sunscreen.

I have the same situation.

You said that you have light skin but you did not say if your hair was dark. If so, then the dark spots could be where the hair roots remain after you shave, kind of like dark "stubble" under the skin. You might want to try to wax a portion and see if makes a difference if the whole root comes out.

And do cover up with a strong sunscreen as Susan suggested. There are also skin softeners with "sun" in them, like Jergens, etc. that not only keep your legs smooth but also make them look tanned. Good luck!

Thanks for telling me about Jergens babyquacker as I like that idea. My legs are always white and don't like being in the sun too much. Softener and sun in it must ask about this in Australia.

You're welcome. The Jergens feels so good after I've pampered myself by shaving and lotioning up my legs and arms. I started using oil of olay bath treatment skin moisturizer at the end of my shower. It makes my skin feel sooo quenched! I just heard they also make a new sun moisturizer but I haven't tried it. The Jergens works pretty well, just make sure to wash your hands (palms, esp) so they don't turn too dark.

The Jergens is called "natural glow" daily moisturizer. There are 3 skin types; I use the one that says it is designed for 'fair skin tones'. (Now I'm reading off the label) LOL I had to get the tube to tell you the full name. I saw Kelly Ripa use it on LIVE with Regis and Kelly last summer. She was using spray on tans before that so Jergens is alot less expensive!

Good Luck. Let us know how you like it. You'll notice a difference the 1st time and a BIG difference the 2nd time. Just remember to wash your palms.

You need to bleach the spots.
