Hi Dr. Maria ~

Two weeks ago I had a yeast infection and the right side of my [censored] was extremely swollen. Now, all of a sudden, the left side is swollen. There is a swollen gland that also seems to go down my leg a short distance. What could be causing this?

Any information would be grateful!!

P.S. Don't know if this matters, but I'm an incomplete quad with bowel and bladder syndrome.

Swelling in the vaginal area can be related infection. I wonder if your yeast infection completely cleared up. Also, if you have a swollen gland that is large enough to be that obvious, I would certainly see a doctor. This could significant an important infection that needs treating.

I definitely pulled a muscle, but since there is still some swelling I'll go see a doctor. The strange thing is that the gland is no longer swollen. It's difficult for my gynocologist to do an exam since I'm in a wheelchair. I was turned down by two others because of that fact.
