You do you feel was the most entertaining/your favorite wrestler of all time & why?

Mine is (no, not Hogan) a tie between Rowdy Piper & the Rock for different reasons.
The Rock was quick witted & very funny...i miss his presence in the ring.
Piper was the most unpredictable physically & verbally & at the same time he was the most convincing to me as an actor.
I would love to see him get fit like he was in the late 80's & early 90's & make a real comeback. He doesn't look like he aged much, but that gut he's carrying isn't working.

"The Rowdy One" Roddy Piper has always been my favorite.
He always backed evrything up that he said and wasn't afraid to say or do what was on his mind.

I caused a lot of ill feelings with my girlfriend's family as I went with them to WMI at the Glens Falls Civic Center,(Jim Duggan's hometown), on closed circuit tv and I rooted for Piper Orndorff and Orton in the match against Hogan and Mr. T.

Of course when Hogan won, I never lived it down, but I never waivered and was always a Hogan naysayer.

Yep, hands down Rowdy Roddy Piper

Randy "Macho Man" Savage.
I've always been a Huge Madness fan. Although I have to admit, I didn't get to see much of his WCW stint, and what I have seen I didn't think to much of.
I think I liked Savage because he was different in the land of WWF. A heel Wrestler and a Face Manager. His quickness impressed me. I've always been a fan of quicker wrestlers. Steamboat & Dynamite Kid to mention a couple of my favs.
Macho had that super cool voice too.
His interview segments were hillarious. The next best talker of the time was Honky Tonk Man, he cracked me up.
And Savage was Hogan's nemisis for a long time, not being a Hogan fan made me root for Savage even more.
His Face turn was done well. The biggest downer was watching him Job out to the Ultimate Warrior (someone earlier called him Ultimate Steroid, funny!), I couldn't stand Warrior and really really hoped Savage would prevail in that Retirment match. Alas, it was not to be.

PS. I missed Savage's stuff in TNA. From what I heard it was dissapointing. Should I check it out or just avoid it at all costs?

Rowdy Roddy Piper is definately the most entertaining wrestler of all time.
Nature Boy Ric Flair has to be my other favourite wrestler as I have fond memories of watching him as a kid with my grandad. Now my kids watch him with their grandad.
They love the rowdy one too as I have old wrstling matches on videos.
Now they watch World of Sport (old british wrestling) on The Wrestling Channel. They actually prefer that to WWE because they get to see the whole match and not my edited versions but then my sons are only 10 and 8.

The channel isn't too bad - it's certainly a lot better than it used to be! Primetime was filled with quiz tv (commonly used here to bolster the income of channels).

As a guide, tonight's viewing consists of:

7-8pm NOAH
8-9pm TNA Impact
9-11pm 1-Pro Wrestling TV
11pm-12am - Cage Warriors FC (sounds like a soccer team!)
12-2am - Ring of Honor.

Other "highlights" coming up include IWW Whiplash, Classic TNA and a whole afternoon of cheering on Big Daddy in World Of Sport!!!!

It does have it's downer's being married to a woman who hates wrestling... <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

What is NOAH? and do you get any Japanese or other International stuff?

For a tip re your wife. Get her to sit down for a Docomentary. I would suggest "Wrestling with Shadows" as a good start. If she doesn't like that your goose is cooked.
But, I think you'll find she'll get into it. Most of my non wrestling mates will watch one of those.
