I try to have projects going in either crochet or knitting or scraping or quilting year round. I taught myself how to knit and finished a baby blanket. Now I need a break from knitting!!

Would like an easy crochet baby blanket (without holes) for a new grand nephew on the way???

Hi I am zoeisabella and this is the first time I have been on this. I really do not know what I am doing yet,but give me time. I am going to start making cloth dolls also polymer clay dolls. I just need a push to get started. I use to crochet and do alot of cross stitching. But age tells me I cannot do this anymore so it is time for a new
craft.

To janelover2 - a nice and easy crochet baby blanket is one done in a variegated yarn with just a half-double crochet stitch. Or the variegated yarn in the chevron stitch. It works up really pretty and isn't too heavy if you use a big enough hook. Let us know how it turns out!

I am crocheting doilies one after another since it's too hot to work with yarn for now. It is a new thing for me too.
