Ever contacted an author because you like their books so much?

I don't have a particular author, although if you counted Pride & Prejudice as a romance novel, that could count as my favorite considering the number of times I've read it and the fact that I own every movie version <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I love the BBC version of Pride & Prejudice (with Colin Firth as the one true Mr. Darcy). I haven't read the book yet, though.

Kathleen Woodiwiss is my all time favorite historical romance writer. I wish she would put out more stories.

Judith McNaught is another favorite romance writer (example: Perfect).
