I'm having a small party (wedding celebration) for about 20 people. I've settled on sushi because both bride & groom love it and so do I. But I'm wondering what to serve with it. Maybe not everyone will love it, or some people may not feel like it constitutes a full dinner, and I'm at a loss for what else to serve that would complement the sushi and satisfy the possible non-sushi lovers. Any thoughts?

Shrimp compliments it very well - and you can count on everyone (pretty much) liking that!

Just go with an asian theme:

crisp green salad w/ ginger-sesame dressing
chicken tataki (skewers of chicken)
rice
steamed veggies and/or edmame (soy beans)
fresh fruit for dessert - or green tea ice cream
