Hello,

I am pleased to introduce to you our unique on-line Jewelry Pricing Calculator which will assist you, the goldsmith / jewelry designer in calculating the real cost of your piece and will guide you through the whole process of pricing its retail price.

With this calculator you are able to break the piece's costs into three major categories as follows: Raw Materials (Metals, Findings, Stones), Labor and Overhead.

The calculator enables you to calculate the recommended retail price of your jewel, by changing the profit markups of all the players along the marketing chain, that is: you the designer, the distributor/rep and the shop.

For better use of our calculator we recommend you to review the help section at the top of the calculator as well as at any section of the calculator.

Hi,
Do the metals that i buy in the materials are the same metals that i buy for casting works, or i should fill each section separately?

Hi Tina,
If you buy your metals such as findings and raw materials, you do not have to fill the "materials for casting work" section. But if you buy fine gold and you need a casting metal in specific karat and shape, then you should fill the materials for casting work - section.

Best,
Hila

Hi,
It is efficient only for the currency of US dollars. Is there a calculator for the euro or other currency?

Thanks,
marie

Hi Marie,
I am sorry for the late answer.
The calculator calculates the cost of your jewelry in US dollars. You can use it in the USD currency and at the end of the calculation process, convert it to the needed currency.
