I like Imogen (for a girl) and Joaquin (for a boy).

I'm not sure about 'kindred,' though. I could see it more easily on a girl than on a boy, but you'd still have to be a bit daring to use it. <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Keep in mind that most people, at least in the United States if that's where you live (and possibly other countries that mostly speak English), wouldn't know how to pronounce Joaquin...and if it's pronounced like the Spanish version, the J is pronounced like an H, not a W (also a mistake commonly made with the name Juan--it's "hwahn," not "wahn").

(people may also want to pronounce "Imogen" the same as "Imogene" but there's not much you can do about this as Imogen IS a name in its own right)

As far as Kindred...you do know that's actually a noun, right? People will be looking at the child strangely for this their entire life; better to use it as a middle name if you simply must.
