I'm having trouble with this stitch. I'd like to make yarncat's snowboard skullie. But can't seem to make the FPDC stitch look right. I've been to stitchguide.com But the video was not working. The drawing didn't help me. Can someone help or give me a reference?

Of course I will try  Front Post Double crochet means your stitch needs to end up on the front of your current work. | will be a dc's and ^ will be where you first insert your hook and * will be where your put your hook next. ok

| * | ^ |

you yo, insert your hook inbetween 1st and 2nd dc from front to back, then around the dc and insert from back to front. Now you have 2 loops and the dc on your hook, yo pull thru by going back the same way you came (around the dc) pull up on the loop so that it becomes as level as possible with your current row. yo pull thru 2 loops, yo pull thru last 2 loops. It is actually putting a dc in the front instead of on top of your current work and it is counted as a dc. does that help ?
