Random question: would implants affect the women's ability to do certain moves? Like Jillian was one of the only women doing a 450 splash, I would like to see her pull one out, but wonder if she would actually be able to, considering I assume it would affect how much you can tuck up into a somersault? (ignoring that she probably wouldn't be able to with the whole crackdown on most high-flying moves).

Also, is it up to the girls how big the implants are? Because some of them, like Patty said, are totally out of proportion.

Edited to remove offensive opinions about women in general and women in wrestling.

I will deal with BellaOnline about this and I encourage anyone who is offended to come to me or go right to BellaOnline with your complaints.

Again, women in wrestling should be RESPECTED, not talked about in graphic and offensive terms!!

Please leave that talk where it belongs! In your head!

Ha! Well that person is banned. I hope he stays away and doesn't try to get back on by devious means which I would never put past the guy.

As for he implant question, sure it affects the way these girls work. They have to be careful not to land on their chests because their implants can (and have) burst. They also are limited in mobility if they have the huge ones. I am surprise Mickie James can move as well as she does but she is pretty much strapped down well when she wrestles. Pain, in general, is an issue. Imagine bumping those big things on hard surfaces. Ouch!

I doubt that they would let Jillian do the 450 and I am not sure it would affect her but it could. She is one of the overly large.

Lita did some good moves but she is just floppy medium large.

I think that WWE actually pays for these girls to get implants at times. I heard somewhere that Mickie James felt she was getting nowhere so she went ahead and had implants and WWE liked the look and brought her up.

It certainly can be suggested as a way to get noticed but it can't be FORCED. If a woman doesn't want her body cut open and sacks placed in her chest, I don't believe any employer can force her to. Then again, they don't have to do anything with women they feel don't fit the mold either so it is sort of a given that most will get implants. Chyna started out at a respectable size and went nuts. Sable too. I don't know why they keep going bigger and bigger but I personally think the women with almost natural sized breasts look better, more naturally sexy, and less plastic. Of course I am a woman so I have no idea what men think.

I sure wouldn't want to haul those big things around while trying to work out and work in the ring let alone just doing everyday things like sleep. I hear it is no fun when they get to the point where they are a bother and they cause back pain. I imagine Stephanie McMahon isn't too comfy at 8 months plus pregnant with those mammoth monsters on her chest swelling even more. OUCH.

All hail the natural women of the world!

I can't speak for other men, although most of the men in this forum seem to be on the same page.

I don't tune in to wrestling to see a Russ Meyer reject show. Lita said in her book she wanted to get her boobs done, but the bottom line is, in WWE, Vince loves his ladies with boobs that would make Russ Meyers envious. I truly think that is his fetish.

I personally don't dig women with these crazy implants (see also: Madusa). It may be I'm personally into different things, but having a chest that enters a room 5 seconds before the rest of you is not attractive.

However, in this new era of "sports-entertainment", Russo and now McMahon have conditioned modern fans to shun women athletes and any personality they may have in favor of huge knockers, bikini contests, and lingerie pillow fights. If you're a modern WWE fan who likes womens wrestling, there's always gravy bowls and mud wrestling! A true display of athletic prowess here in WWE! (Also goes to show you VKM's opinion of women, as many, many writers have mentioned...WWE TV is written by people who were shunned in high school by pretty girls, so they get revenge now by showing their "power").

I think in general, modern WWE fans are not conditioned to enjoy actual wrestling moves, either. I think most fans of actual wrestling buy tapes, or see indies. I'm not dismissing the talent of the wrestlers, I just think that fans are not the ones who are the long-term fans, they are just people there to see the next hot chick and billy bad [censored] (NO, NOT Kip Sopp!) and not really into wrestling. I wish it could be different, but if you take out a stopwatch, time actual wrestling to backstage skits, interviews and general bs. Out of a 90-some odd minute show, there probably would be less than half of it actual wrestling.

I gave up on TV wrestling in 2000, came back for a brief moment last year when Ken Kennedy and Shawn Daivari appeared, because I know them both personally from my time in the indy circuit, but realized I still couldn't stomach the shows, despite loving both those guys work. Finley's midget, Shortstack, is another friend of mine, but I have yet to see him on TV, because I just can't bring myself to watching the mindless drivel. I usually look through my archives and pull out a nice PPV from years past. This week: my WWF selection: WM X. My NWA/WCW selection: Starrcade 87. The one positive thing about modern WWE programming: I don't have to listen to Vince's fake laugh. GEEZ, was that annoying!

That's a great point, when you ask the average fan (not the net fan) these days who their all time faves are - they'll say people like Hogan, The Rock, Stone Cold - not highly skilled technical wrestlers. They go for the characters, not the skill and the same applies for women too I guess.

I think I may rock a few boats here, but here goes.

I like Good Looking Women in wrestling. I also like Good Solid Female Wrestling matches. These two things do not always (or maybe not even often) go together.

If I see a female match I want to see the likes of; Sexton, Jumping Bomb Angels, Moolah, Wendy Richter, Molly Holly, Trish Stratus (she has improved).

But I also like my eye candy. I don't think girls bought in for this roll should be in 'real' wrestling fights. Fantasy Battle Royals, etc sure. But don't put them up for a title.

Also, I'm a Leg man. Sure a chick with a nice rack is nice. But a woman can look stunning and have almost no breasts at all. Stacey is a good example.

Should T&A overshadow wrestling? NO WAY. I watch for wrestling, seeing Gail Kim and others walk their men to the ring is just a bonus.

Sorry if I'm coming off as a typical Playboy reading male. (Which I don't by the way), but I'd be telling a lie if I said I watch wrestling 100% just too purely watch wrestling.

As for massive chest implants. I am definitely not a fan. Too Big just looks no good. If they look natural, sure, why not. The same goes for overly muscular Men or Women, they just look ridiculous. Of course that's just my opinion, but give me Healthy, Fit, realistic women any day.

I have no problem at all with pretty women as managers or valets. I just don't like them wrestling when they clearly can't. If a woman is attractive and can work (like Trish and Victoria, more power to her.

But frankly, the Torrie/Candice water balloon, squirt gun fight was so lame, I can't imagine that a guy would get hot about it. You can see women in wet T-shirts anywhere. And it was just so BAD.

As a woman I also like good looking men. I can't overlook the fact that some guys are just really great looking and others aren't. I am no more of a fan of a hot looking wrestler than I am a real good average or unattractive guy.

It seems there is a great divide between men and women with Cena. I think he's classy, a good promo, has tons of charisma, and is totally hot. I don't think he is Bret Hart/Benoit/Angle material in the ring but I enjoy his character.

Speaking of which I am a fan of Angle's dedication and excellent wonderful skills but find nothing attractive about him.

Back on topic, if you imagine a bunch of male models all chiseled and perfect looking but who can't talk on the mic, can't act, can't wrestle, and are there JUST to titillate the ladies, would you not roll your eyes and tell the idiots to go back to Chippendale's?

But if they could work and put on a half way decent match and had charisma, you may be able to deal with their obvious good looks being the reason they are out there.

Valets/managers like Liz and Woman were really important to wrestling as was Sunny and even Sable. Marlena (Terri) played a big role in the whole Goldust/Marlena angle and she couldn't wrestle at all. My gripe is with Candice-like women who have yet to show ANYTHING but their skin.

Gotta agree, it should not be all about showing skin, I like to see wrestlers wrestle but yes as Tik stated I like to look at a lovely female and it's not all about a nice rack as Tik said there's so much more. However I honestly do believe beauty is only skin deep..
Although Patty I'm sure about seeing women in wet t-shirts just anywhere or maybe I should visit NY and see. We certainly don't over here, they'd probably catch cold if they did... <img src="/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

Absolutely! Sunny and Marlena never wrestled, but you weren't clamoring to see them in the ring, they had their role clearly defined, and fans accepted it. Same with Elizabeth. Liz probably played one of the most important roles in the business, although she was mocked for it later on. Unfortunately, Elizabeth ran into problems with the nWO, because they didn't have a role for an "evil" refined woman, and Liz had trouble adjusting from what she had done for so many years to the new generation of women in wrestling.

Gail Kim. I just don't think she's all that. I'm also way bored with what TNA has her doing, too. Ashley is butch. Period. I love women, but man, Ashley is just one really ugly chick, and her ghetto gangster persona isn't scoring points on the personality scale, either.

I pointed out earlier, someone needs to find something to do with Christy. I loved Nora Greenwald from the moment I saw her as Miss Madness. Any woman who could do what she did in an evening gown and high heels deserves respect!

I like Stacy in general, but I didn't really think she had a chance to show her personality, but I DID feel Stacy had presence. Maybe it was her modeling days. I've talked to models and photographers, and they say a model needs presence, too. Stacy knew her assets, and used them well. HOWEVER, when "creative" (used VERY loosely) grew out of their fetish with Stacy, she bolted. I think it's understandable. More money, insurance, less wear and tear, less travel, and she doesn't have to make out with the senior citizen who owns the company.
