I think that is one reason why many people have often thought that the Antichrist might actually come from the church. Where better to hide than in plain sight?

I actually did go to the website, because I was so shocked that someone would actually claim to be a church with this URL. I thought surely it was someone posing. But no, it is a church - they even offer to show the way to salvation. It is tru;y frightening.

Wendy - I thought your comment was very interesting, I had never looked at it in that light. It is true that Sodom and Gomorah were about more than simple homosexuality. It was depravity and violence, and general (indifference doesn't cover it) contempt for their fellow man - that wasn't a member of their society.

It also seems they took a special delight in wanting to debase anything that stood for Holiness or good (their special interest in wanting to rape the Angels for instance).

But this "church's" contempt for anyone that is different does not seem so far from those that lived in Sodom and Gomorrha themselves. Also the violence and hatred and humiliation that they work to spread. I wonder if they have ever realized that? I wonder if they ever will? <img src="/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

They also picketed here at the funerals of the Sago mine victims!!! The site is disgusting (was given the link from a friend on another site) and I cannot believe that guy! He's twisted and I am sure God has a "special" place reserved just for him. <img src="/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />

I wouldn't even give them the time of day!! It makes me so mad that people are so dumb! I'm going to do something about this one!!! It's illegal to promote hate speech and that's exactly what this is.

Wendy your right on about Sodom and Gomorrah. God's anger with them is about their immoral lifestyle and their conscious choice to live in disobediance to God.

so you see it started in Kansas and has slowly speed and how many true churches do you see that take a stand anginst them? none not one here? some ones going to get hurt not to mention the fact that i am truly ashamed to say im a christian when people acositate christian= church= God **** that word...know wonder people dont want to here what we have to say!!!
some one told me of an story about the good old days. the preacher had a job and the job was to help the congreagation. the preacher work building fences, herding cows chichens, stayed with the sick and elderly so the family could work and not worry about them, what ever need to be done you didnt have to go to the preacher he came to you and offered help and he also asked freely for your help... the point is back then the preacher knew every one by name and what they need and could give the good the bad and the ugle and he still help and didnt judge. they showed true christianity!!! i know that there are churches and preachers out there that are wonderful but they are harder and harder to find.
the picketing funnerals in my oppinion is assanine and servese no propose other that spead prejustice (about christians and in my opoinoin supports gay/lesbieans)!!!

I think the best thing to do about this website is to let your church or community leaders know that this kind of behaviour will not be tolerated. Why should we tolerate hate speech and ignorance in our communities?

I for one, am going to write to my congressman and let them know that this faction does not in any way represent freedom of speech and that they are just propogating hate speech.

I am also going to keep my eyes open and if I hear about it happening in Phoenix, I ma going to speak up.

This is not a true representation of what God wants. This is not a demonstration of His love.

Evryone, lets join together now to stand for the acceptance of everyone. i know that the Bible states there are somethings we shoudl nto do, like lie or steal or commit adultry. We won't do these kinds of things when we love the Lord. it is a compulsion to live according to God's rules. But becasue of grace we don't have to face a series of rules to be loved by God.

That site is 100% rubbish. A person of God above all knows they should speak in a more graceful manner on all subjects.
It is not way to represent any church or other place of worhip devoted to God.

I am not someone that agrees with homosexuality but I do not express it in such a way. I dont think it is being homophobic to not agree with the practices of gays and lesbians.
I know some and they are great people too. Its a point that the hetresexual and homosexual may have to agree to disagree on, but most importantly not in a way that will cause hurt to any party.

The thing that I cant understand however is in many posts above, some of you guys have decided that some of the bible is outdated. Can the literal word of God be outdated? He didnt give dates that laws should be ammended by the people!

This is NOT a church or a cult. It is a place of hate for those whose 'religion' is hatred. True Religion is about LOVE and compassion for others as well as worship of what we each see and believe to be DIVINE.

True Christianity, as well as other Faiths teach us to be the best that we can be, not the worst!

To paint God as hateful is to insult what is Divine and degrade what is Holy to those who believe in God. If there is indeed a 'Satan' then this man is his servant, not God's.

For whatever reason, (and I'm not going to get into what makes people Homosexual - personally I believe it can be genetic, or the result of very early childhood trauma, especially sexual abuse, but never by choice) my own sexual orientation is not heterosexual, and I can remember very clearly once being shunned like a leper because someone said they could 'feel the devil eminating from me' - simply because of my sexual orientation - and this person didn't even know me!

If truth be known, my moral standing and spiritual purity was of a higher standard than theirs, because I never judge anyone, and always look for the best and highest in people. I strive to give love, and respect the different views of others. To me, intimate love, whether homosexual or heterosexual, is sacred and not to be treated lightly or without respect and honour. I am one of those 'old fashioned' people who believe that sex should be reserved for a committed relationship, with all those vows that most religions teach - to love and cherish, in sickness and in health, etc. There are many Gay people who think the same way, and have relationships which are for life. (Two friends of mine have been together, faithfully, now for 36 years, and several others for almost as long!)

I respect that there are many who feel that Homosexuality is not right, and I also respect them for their non- condemning attitude. We each must be true to what we believe. The test is in how we treat those with whom we disagree. After all, it is all about love. All the great religions teach this.

I feel very sorry for this hateful man on this site mentioned, and those who follow him. What miserable, unhappy people the must be! They have all missed the beauty of what it means to love and to know love in their lives, and that is a human tragedy!

I think its pretty wild that they say they do peaceful protests and hold up colorful signs with bible words and sentiments like Thank God for Aids. I dont remember seeing that anywhere in the bible. Can someone please tell me where that verse is?
