It seems weird to me that Kurt Angle is going to ECW in the light of his past history with them, and also with the current Smackdown roster dropping like flies.Can they really afford to lose him? I saw him talking to Paul Hayman on last weeks show and did wonder, but not for long, I must admit.
It would make alot of sense to combine Smackdown and Raw again into one really strong show, getting rid of the dead wood and having enough powerful characters that no one or two indivduals are responsible for carrying it. Then people would be able to take time out for injury recovery or just a well-earned rest occasionally without leaving such a gaping hole.
Talking of the depleted Smackdown roster, any news on when Batista will be back? And Randy Orton's six weeks must be about up too!I also wonder if Chavo is going to be a permanent new addition...

I think I can see Kurt fitting into ECW wrestling-style (from what I've heard) - but was he part of the Raw contingency at the last ECW One Night Stand? I can only remember JBL and then-Raw GM Eric Bishoff there...

Also, was it just me or did Tazz seems not very enthusiastic on SD when Michael Cole mentioned ECW? If Tazz did go over (yet another SD star gone - I like Tazz!) then who would be on commentary? Cole on his own???

Batista should be back soon (maybe the next PPV) - I recon he'll be after Booker T, but I'm probably wrong. Oh yeah - did Booker become number one contender with winning KOTR? I've never heard it mentioned but there ought to be some prize, other than the dodgy robe and jewellery...

The word is that Mike Bucci (Simon Dean) had a tryout as an announcer for Smackdown in case Tazz leaves and did quite well for himself.

I heard Tazz is doing color for ECW. But Simon Dean was great as Nova, I would hate to see him stay on Smackdown.

As for someone who asked about Chavo, yeah, a Chavo vs Rey feud is coming. Wheeee...more Eddie references. (I am being sarcastic there. I want that stuff to stop). Vickie Guerrero has been involved with the scripts and may play a part or at least have a say in what happens with that storyline. Poor Vickie.

As for Angle, some say his schedule will be lighter because he won't have to do as many house shows, even though ECW actually has more lined up than SD for the rest of the year. I don't see why Angle would go or what the advantage to him is. He was also so vocally against ECW that I can't help but hold out hope that he turns and walks off and another good star goes to ECW (Chris Benoit was my pick but he is out for a while).

Eddie will live on for so many in our hearts and thoughts but I agree with Patty stop dragging heat from him week in week out. Eddie was one of the all time greats and should be remembered for that and for all the fantastic matches he had not for giving Rey or Chavo heat. If they want to have Rey and Chavo fued fine do it without using Eddie in any shape or form.

I read something about CM Punk and Mike Knox being the only developmentals who they are certain are coming into ECW.

Besides thinking that's not a good thing, and that they need more, who is Mike Knox?

Mike Knox has been kicking around for a few years and is now in Deep South I think. He does a cowboy gimmick. I doubt he will keep that gimmick in ECW though.

I don't know much about his work. He did some darks and a couple jobber matches in WWE but works mostly for their developmental territories.

Add Big Show to the ECW roster...there is still 1/2 hour of the Head to head show and there could be another defection but doubt it. Stevie Richards is in ECW as expected and i saw a few others I have to check on and see who they are.

Big Show on ECW. Weirdness. Almost as weird and Angle there. No, weirder actually. I can't imagine what Big Show will do there but he was pretty much going nowhere on Raw anyway so maybe this is a good move for him.

I am sure we will see more people "jumping" within the next few weeks.

Just read on the WWE website that Paul Heyman is trying to also get Rey Mysterio for ECW. Not too shocked at the "approach" but I doubt very much he'd go.

Does anyone know if Tajiri's been approached? I know he left for Japan a while ago but he may come back... I liked Tajiri...
