I don't understand the closing of the hat. Can you help me out? <img src="/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Imagine a large X at the top of the hat. You will first hold the center seam and put a stitch there to hold the two sides together, now the top should look like the number eight. **Now take the bottom part of the eight, find the center and put a stitch into it and into the same center spot of the first stitch you made (the one made holding the two sides together before making an eight) then sew it closed.** Repeat from the ** to the other half of the "eight" Does this help ?

Yes, <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> Thankyou. My brain was not working. I made the hat with some leftover black yesterday. I just left the top open because I wasn't making sense to me. I'll have to becareful not to leave a lump in the seam...If I do I guess I could just turn it inside out. I think I'll make a second one in sc. Thanks again. :kiss:
