I need ideas for my betta wasabi who has a very short attention span. (I swear he has attention deficit disorder.)
When he is bored he chews on his tail causing it to become very ragged. (I know he chews his tail because I have caught him doing this more than once.) Mostly he would do this at night or over the weekend, so I put a mirror up for him during this time and it seems to keep him busy, however now during the day if I do not pay attention to him several times an hour he will wedge himself between something in his tank and begin munching on his tail all the while looking to see if I am watching him. It has nothing to do with water changes or chemicals or food as I have experimented by one day acknowledging him some and another day acknowledging him all day long. The day I acknowledeged him all day, he blew a bubble nest that night. The day I only acknowledged him some, he chewed on his tail. I can't spend my entire work day interacting constantly with my betta....I need ideas to keep wasabi occupied..... does anyone have any suggestions?
