What mulch do you use and recommend? We were in Home Depot and they had the regular mulches but then they had a more expensive one but it sounded so good. It has a warranty up to 10 years I think it was and the pieces won't fly away and all this other stuff. I didn't know if it was true or would end up being worth the extra expense but now I am wondering.

Anyone have a clue what I am talking about? I cant think tonight lol.

I think you might be referring to the pine bark nuggets, but I haven't checked out the mulch situation at Home Depot this year yet, so they may have some recycled mulches I don't know about. The nuggets break down more slowly than shredded bark, but some of them often end up in the lawn after a heavy storm. They don't work well on paths because they don't pack down enough to form a nice walking surface, but they are good around shrubs and trees.

We had gotten free mulch from our city. They had a huge pile of it after grinding up some trees that they cut down. We have moved now and our place has lots of trees and there are always limbs falling down and so now we grind our own mulch with a chipper shredder
