The paints and crayons have been out all week around my house and the children have whispered conversations with Daddy. Something's afoot! I'm hoping its not breakfast in bed, they (including hubby) can't cook (I still have recurring daymares of last year's breakfast).

My husband travels for his work. My kids probably will take their Mother's Day direction from their teachers. My favorite gift is always the hug and the look that asks if I understand that I really am important to them. That opens a door to do something special and fun together, like playing in the yard.

We're driving to the city we're moving to so we can find a new home <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

We dont take a lot of creed in mothers and fathers day.

I am planning a cookout for some of us moms on Sat. We are letting the dads watch the kids and we are drinking drinks with silly names. On Sunday, I am sure we will go eat brunch somewhere. My husband said "Mother's Day. When is Mother's Day?" He has spring football training, so I am sure he will have to be reminded again.

Knowing my husband I will be lucky if he even remembers....

i have been making a scrapbook for mom. everyone gets to contribute something. its a family effort to surprise mom. even her friends helped. we just can't wait to give it to her. i have been staying up late doing the layout. im sure all our efforts will be greatly appreciated by my 'nanay'
