As reported, ECW is to start soon after the One Night Stand PPV in June. This explains Joey Styles leaving last night at RAW. We all know Rob Van Dam is on his way over to the production with Heyman and Dreamer. I was wondering who else you think is headed over that way. With this push of Edge against Foley in another hardcore match, I wonder if he is pulling up stakes and going over with Lita. Thoughts?

I don't know. It's hard to say. What I think could probably happen is that Edge will beat Foley next week in the Hardcore match and then Foley will challenge him one more time at the ONS pay-per-view in Foley's "own backyard". Foley will win that and then they could wind up feuding in ECW but I never really thought of Edge as a hardcore wrestler.
Unless they challenge each other for the ECW title or if Van Dam wins the title at ONS, will that title become the ECW title and WWE will go back to one World Championship Where anyone can jump from brand to brand to challenge for the title? Or will Rob win the title to become the ECW champion and WWE bring back both the titles back and continue to have separate brand champions
If that happens, then the one title should be vacant and they can have a tourney to culminate at the Bash and declare a new champ.
What will become of the Intercontinental title? Will that be the only championship on Raw if Van Dam wins the world title and then turns that into an ECW title.
Wait...what was the question? Oh yeah. Foley will go to ECW and Edge will stay in the WWE. lol. Sorry for rambling

Most of you already now what I want to see.
One WWE (no Raw no Smackdown). ECW wrestlers will occaisonally hit WWE rings and vice versa. That's a good thing.
WWE can do another "combining the belts" PPV like they did when they had the WWE and WCW belts. I hope the Intercontinental belt goes back to being the 2nd or 3rd most valued strap in wrestling (as it once was), instead of the joke it is now.
Non of this will hurt TNA
Tikus
Of course, thats only what "Tikus" wants to see. What will happen. I think something else
I'll rap you with my Cane, you Pencil Neck Geek!!!

It most definitely could hurt TNA. If Vince even puts out a show that is half as good as it should be, TNA will eventually suffer. If ECW gets the right talent...er...wrestlers, TNA will suffer that much sooner.
If Vince puts this on at the right time and eventually goes to a two hour show like, say, on a Thursday night around 10:00pm. Not only will TNA suffer but it will consistently get better ratings than TNA and Ultimate Fighter.
Watch, I will bet you that either TNA or the UFC, or, both of them will eventually try to move to other nights.
If Vince doesn't screw this up and lets Paul E. Dangerously have full creative control as well as Tommy Dreamer, and, if they are allowed to pick and buy his own roster, it'll make a buttload of money for Vince and will make him millions of happy fans. A happy fan is a paying fan.
Don't screw this up, Mr. McMahon.

Are you kidding me? Hurt TNA? Heck, no, this is a goldmine for them. A lot of TNA's regular guys, I think, are content to make TNA their home. There might be a few people who jump ship for nostalgia sake, but I think they will wait until they see if ECW is successful or not. In the meantime, I can only wish for some type of ratings war, with TNA and ECW and WWE locking horns. This will be the one thing that gets WWE's creative machine out from mothballs and kicked into overdrive. Of course, part of that is contigent upon WWE selling ECW as it's own outlaw promotion. But it still could benefit with TNA's side.

I don't think the old ECW people jumping from TNA to WWE would hurt them. Rhino leaving, considering he isn't even being used...maybe not such a loss. Raven can't, Dudleys can't. Jerry Lynn is an agent, who else?
The problem will be the younger guys in TNA now have some more possible spots opened up for them in the WWE. The challenge will be for management to start booking and utilising those guys properly. And hopefully, it kicks Spike into gear and they realise they need to start stepping things up. Maybe giving UFC and TNA more exposure, TNA a better timeslot, can only be all good for us fans.
As for the initial question, I think Edge would fit well over in ECW. He's proven he has what it takes over the last few months. Plus, they need a bigger name over there - I think it would work well. And I can only imagine the fun Paul E. would have breaking Lita and Edge up!
I would say Benoit, but I'm not sure he would go back. The cruisers - should the entire CW division head over to ECW? Surely not, unless the brand extension ends. That's a big chunk of Smackdown's roster, otherwise.
Brain blank, can't think of anyone else!
Little umbrellas get the party started right!

I don't see Edge going to ECW but am intrigued by Foley's sudden reappearance and what it means to ECW...

TNA and UFC may not have anything to worry about yet but as I said if the ECW brand does even a little well, they will only get bigger and TNA will most definitely have something to worry about.
AJ Styles won't be under contract with TNA forever and I believe if he gets offered enough money, he may go to ECW in the future. Samoa Joe? Abyss? Monty Brown isn't being pushed right now either. Can Tna afford to lose them without it affecting their company?
They would never work for WWE, right? Nope. Neither would Paul Heyman or Erich Bishoff.
Ever think you would see them on WWE?
In the wrestling business, you never can say never.

Cat, I agree with most everything you said, up to Edge going to ECW. Edge isn't considered a hard core wrestler, he had a very good match with Mick Foley, but I don't think he wants to make those his calling card. Nope, Edge stays with WWE. However, like Patty said, Mick Foleys sudden re-emergence (spell?) does have possiblities, although he only wrestles very infrequently now a days. But he could have other on camera not wrestling roles, and his name lends instant credibility to the product, he is the hardcore legend after all. Rhino over to ECW? That's possible. And if a wrestler doesn't feel he's getting push, or is offered a bigger money contract, then yes, you could see almost anybody jumping ship. But I do feel at first a lot of the wrestlers might wait awhile to see if ECW takes off or not.
