Can someone tell me where I can get a download for adobe reader version 5 or the most current version 5. I know there are more current versions, but my operating system 98SE works best with and can only handle that version. I just had a new hardrive put in and lost everything so I am rebuilding it till I can afford to buy a new computer. Thanks for any help.

cnet has always been a good source for me. For any downloads, though, caution is always the key word.

Not sure if this is the right place for this question....my digital camera defaults videos into Quicktime. My son's defaults into Windows media. When I send my videos to him he can't open them with quick time I openend an account with you Tube, upload them there and send him the link....his come through to me as wmv files so they open in winamp. Is there a way I can get mine to utilize winamp when I send them to him?

Purrcat all you need to do is go to Adobe.com and in the search box enter the version you are looking for. (currently it is 9.0 and for Win XP) You can download 5.0 but I'm not sure there will be any updates as they have moved on.

Adobe reader 5.0

Walking Granny to enter a url you need to be in the full screen version to post and click on the url button and a drop down box will appear where you would enter the url of the site...then it ask you to name it (what ever you like that pertains to the description) In my case I named it Adobe reader 5.0 above

Also I think your camera software is not set up right for you or your son. Both of you are using software for viewing but you should use the camera software to download them into your picture files. Then when you email select attachement and go to your documents and open your pictures and select the ones you want to share. You can also upload them to some free webhosting sites like Picasa, Webshots etc. and use that to share and view. May times software likes to take over and act as default for some programs.
