Freespirit - thanks for the kind word -
I am a firm believer in claiming/re-claiming your power/beauty - no matter where you are on the scale....or even if you don't believe in them.
If you are working toward getting healthy - Hooray!Keep up the good work!!
If you are happy about where you are - Celebrate it! Dance your Dance!
Girls - If we don't take back our power from the media, society and those who have bought-into the idiotic idea that beauty ONLY comes packaged in a size 4, how will the next generations view their own beauty and self-image?
I personally have sung the song "I FEEL PRETTY" to my 2 nieces since they were newborns. At 14 and 15, I hear them humming it to themselves when they get ready to go out with their friends. (Wow! It stuck! They are both different sizes, as are all their friends, and I hear them re-inforcing the idea of beauty diversity to these same teenage friends. Even to the point that they all, regardless of size, outrageously & luxuriously compliment each other on things like integrity...and truth telling....and even how pretty ones face looks when adorned with a smile/laughter. I never "preached" this to them, only sang what became my special lullaby for them...)
We are all soooo beautiful, rare and miraculous - and I am VERY glad to be able to see that specialness in all women - regardless of age, size, ethnicity, or any other superficial labels.
Take your beauty out of the closet and feel fabulous about it! If you OWN your beauty, no one can knock you off your own throne! No naysayers, no man, no sabotagers, no jealous people - in the words of a wise creature; "...not no way, not no how!".
There's a reason that tiaras are popular these days!

(When you read this....hum the tune "I Feel Pretty"....any activity becomes a habit after 21 repititions....)
The 'I Feel Pretty' movement filters into every space of your life. Try it out....small changes can change your world.
