I LOVE the lessons. The first couple of lessons was mostly a review for me but now I am learn new things. I love what you are teaching us because we can use it to come up with our own patterns. I hope you are not going to stop anytime soon. I have no friends that crochet and have taught myself to read a pattern and the basics, I really love the chance to have lessons and other things to work on besides book patterns!!!

Hi Karen, I do not have any intention of stopping I just didn't see many post here so I wasn't sure if I was boring everyone. Thank you for letting me know. You got it exactly right I am trying to teach so that eventually you will be able to design your own pattern.

I love the lessons! I came in at the 13th lesson. I have been going back to the lessons library and printing out the other lessons. As soon as I am all caught up, I'll start going over the lessons from start to finish. Although I've been crocheting for years, I can always use a refresher. I love the circles and triangles, but I'll wait until I've done all the others before I tackle them. I'm going to keep my lesson samples in a swatch book. From now on I'll keep swatches, and date them, perhaps even include a picture of the finished project with them too.
Thank you so much for doing this!!

Hi Eva
Just printed off Lesson 19 to add to the others. I'm keeping them all as a handy reference. Was glad to see you address Hairpin Lace as I have a loom and used it once years ago to make a dressing gown/housecoat but have long since lost all instructions I might have had.

Thumbs up on the lessons!! I love 'em. Did you see the shawl pattern in the Crochet! magazine? It is Hairpin Lace and it is really pretty.
