I don't get why someone would not try to change the cycle...if people you know got knocked up at 15 and had a [censored] life thereafter...then wouldn't it make sense to say "hey, y'know, let's not start having sex at 13 or 14" and avoid the whole deal? That'd be like watching several of your friends each pick up a gun, point it at their face, pull the trigger, and die...and then picking up a gun, pointing it at your face, and pulling the trigger...

Does it honestly not occur to them to not do it? Do they really not know what causes pregnancy? Is it some sort of weird self-esteem thing?

I agree!! I have to add the sense of freedom that comes with getting older - as I see parents I know of older/adult children that they know they will have to support (and that they KNOW will never support them!). The disappointment and sadness is obvious and some have even told me outright about this.

I flew back East last week and I'll tell you another thing that is so fabulous about being childfree....the ability to travel LIGHT. I threw a couple changes of clothes into a backpack and off I went....I watched all these families getting on the plane carrying half their worldly goods, even their kids were loaded down like sherpas. It all looked so CUMBERSOME.

why im glad i dont have kids
1)I dont conteribute to raiseing taxes
2)when some big wig no brained dumby puts a stupid test to prove kids are learningto take test. I will not have to explane to them why they cant make change
3)I dont have to worry which is better stay at home mommy #E!! or go to work super mom #E!!.
4)i dont have to worry about them getting shot and school.
5) i dont worry about Grand kids the # one reason to promote ABSTINANCE.
6)I will never be the mother of a crimmeal.
7)I dont have to worry who will hurt,kidnap, molest, or whathave you, my kids.
8) this lest makes me realize i not have nearly the worry i could have.
9) i dont have to explane the facts of life in terms of storke and cabbage patch.
10)My dog is smarter and cutier than any kid!!!
11) i will never have teens
12)i wont hear i hate you and your a bad mother the only bad mother I will ever be is a real bad mother#@!$er.lol
oh yea my kid wont blow up the planet or turn in to hitler!!
