BellaOnline Forums Hobbies and Crafts Crochet Has anyone used the Crystalite Hooks ?

I saw the clear plastic hooks and was wondering if anyone tried them yet ? If you have how do you like them. I used a plastic hook once and I broke it right in half. I think I will stick with my old metal boye hooks. How about you ?

Sorry, I haven't tried them, either. I had the same problem as you. I once had a couple of plastic crochet hooks & 2 sets of knitting needles......all got broken. I'm sticking to my aluminum. But....maybe I'll try some woods hooks.

I did try a Brittany hook and at first I thought I liked it but then I didn't so I went back to my trusty metal hooks.

I am not sure about the plastic hooks, My really big hooks are plastic, they are ok not my favorite! My husband did buy me a set of brittany hooks and I love them. I tried my metal ones the other day and they were so cold and didnt like working with them. Love the wood light and warm.

I guess its all a matter of taste.
