Smack Down was terrible tonight. The one bright spot, and it was dim at best, was the double team on JBL. I had to laugh though when Taz confused Samuel L. Jackson for Clarence Williams III after he put the wig on that Regal was wearing.
Micheal Cole said he looked like "Whats his name on the Mod Squad" and then finally remembered the name Linc and Taz said "Yeah He was in Pulp Fiction too."
Taz, you had better stick to wrestling and stay away from pop culture. lol. <img src="/images/graemlins/wall.gif" alt="" />
Also it was a close match between Funaki and the new giant tonight. (Oh yeah I thrive on sarcasm)
Now that Jillian Hall was fired by JBL, wonder what her next move will be? Think she will come back as a the Boogey man's publicist?
Also glad to see Simon Dean, the "fitness guru" managing a team.
Yep Smack Down lived up to its "B" image tonite. And no I dont think Raw has been much better lately. But it is slightly better even on its worst night.

Simon Dean needs to cut his hair, that combover is killing me.
I didn't mind smackdown, except for the last 30 mins or so of the show.
Now, correct me if I am wrong, but my understanding is that the Big Show is actually larger than the 7' they claim him to be (and seeing him in person I wouldn't doubt it), however the WWE lowers his height so that Andre the Giant will remain the tallest superstar in WWE history.
But this Longest Yard guy, they're claiming at 7'3" therefore making him taller than Andre, and isn't that completely unfair to Big Show???

Princess,
They are all three some tall individuals. For the most of us who have to crook our neck and look up, WAY UP, to look into their faces I don't think we can tell the difference.

I thought they were billing Andre at 7'5 at one point and 550 pounds or something like that. Who knows. Once they get past the 6'6" mark, it doesnt much matter anymore.
How big was El "I Want the Belt" Gigante? He was over 7' too

I though Andre was billed at 7'4"
At any rate, Paul Wight really IS taller than Andre was but they are preserving that illusion and that's cool I suppose.
Nash said he was 7'
Show is billed at what? 7' too? Or more?
And how tall are they saying the new guy is?
Just about every wrestler's height is added to by at least a few inches except for the ones who would break Andre's record. I remember when Kane wore platform wrestling boots to look at least somewhat as tall as UT. That was funny stuff.

I am 5' 10", and I was considering ordering wrestling shoes with lifts to make me 6' or 6' 1". That is still under the average wrestler I think. So don't crack on Kane for elevator shoes, everyone knows he is really 5' 4!!!

Yes they do overinflate. Hogan isn't 6'8 either and they are billing the new guy at 7'3 and 400 something pounds and who was that other one in WCW who wore the boots to make him taller. He even fell into the wall on the interview set.
He was Earthquakes partner for awhile..TugBoat? He wound up wearing some blue costume in WCW and the boots made him clumsy

Tugboat was clumsy. But it wasn't because of the shoes. Shoes with lifts are ok. When they approach stilts size, then you may have a complex.

Yeah in WCW it was his shoes I believe I read an article in PWI about it. Or at least they said it was his shoes. He was trying some super hero angle gimmick there and it escapes me. The name he was using.

I don't know. I stopped watching WCW when the 4 Horseman were starting to wane. That was a LONG time ago!
