anyways, wildcat, it's not that unusual for a betta to have seperation anxiety at all. betta splendis are very much like humans or small puppies as far as personalities go. they have fears, likes and dislikes, favourite colours and toys. they are all different.
a bubblenest is a sure sign that your boy is happy and healthy! so, leaving the mirror at night might be just the ticket.
