LOL. Eddie sure did play a joke on me but I can't really say what it was here. Only some people from chat know when I spilled the beans about his particular "talent" that I learned about when lured into the locker room.
But he was never malicious or anything. He was lots of fun when he wasn't mad. He definitely had a HOT temper (not at me, thankfully) and people stayed far away when he was ticked off.
When he wasn't, he was a sweetheart.
Tikus, how I got into wrestling is in my bio or in a column on the BellaOnline site. It is sort of crazy and really pure;y accidental. I never had any aspirations of wrting for a wrestling magazine. I was a published writer long before wrestling came along.
I will repeat it all here if you want but it is covered on the website.
I just happened to run into the publisher and things got crazy and then I was hired for a bit job ($75 a month). Next thing I knew, I was bumped to Associate Editor. Then Executive Editor.
What a great ride and I thank my publisher, Colin Bowman, for having faith that a woman could be at the helm of an official wrestling magazine and not turn it into a drool fest.
Though I did convince him to allow me to write "On the Fringe", my monthly women's column where I talked about who was hot and who was not.
That column gave me more trouble than anything else I wrote or did in WCW. Those guys got ticked when they were in the cold category. Even lukewarm guys were mad. Sheesh, it was all in fun and fan based. Except I threw in a few of my faves now and then.
