I am getting ready to start the Shimmy Shan doll kit that I got from the Beadwrangler. If you have never seen it, go to www.beadrangler.com and click on the kits page. It is a bead crochet project but also a doll/necklace very unique.

I got the green essence, ok let me tell you the directions are soo clear and easy. If you don't have a bead spinner get one, they are well worth it. Ms. Lydia is so talented, if you were thinking about buying the kit please do, I started with the legs and so far nothing has been difficult at all. Will try and take a picture so you all can see the progress. eek

Boy, Eva, those are really neat! What do you do with them? Sounds like you can wear them?? How cool! If you get permission to post your pics, be sure you show it as worn on you. I'm going to start a really pretty, patriotic themed afgan I saw in a Red Hart ad, in the summer issue of JoAnn, Etc. magazine. I might need some help, Eva, with the stars that get sewn on it, though. It may not be out on the stands, yet. I got a complimentary copy sent to me by Verilux, as they used my comments made in my Bella Oline article on lighting, as well as my pic!! HAH! I'm famous, now, doncha love it!?!

HAH!! eek I actually sound really dumb in the quote! It is amazing when someone quotes you out of context, how the meaning changes! They took a couple of sentences from my article, and tried to make it sound like I was asked a question, and then answered it. I sound rather like a dullard, but what the heck, I'm in print, with my photo, so at least it's a start!!
