I pierced my nose a long while back and had a nose bone in it, well, you know how nose bones are, I pulled it out and it hurt like hell, well, I put in a hoop I had purchased that is made for the nose. (the captive ball type) Well, after going to war to get it in, I notice it's not comfortable, and figure the hoop is too small. Do nose hoops come in a small size to where they outer part of the hoop touches the edge of your nose and thats it? Or are there bigger ones out there somewhere? Is this normal, it's' not comfortable at all because of where I pulled the nose bone out AND because it touches the end of my nose....Normal or no? if it's not normal, how do I find one that fits correctly without having to spend hundreds of dollars trial and erroring it to find one that fits right??

Most body piercing shops should have at least a few diameters of nose rings. Diameter refers to the size of the ring, they often go up in little increments. Go to a shop and ask and let them measure your nose and the ring you have now.
