BellaOnline Forums Sports Wrestling Want the Names/URLs of REAL wrestlers on MySpace?

I posted a column on 4/11 asking if you all wanted to know the names and the URLS (locations) of the wrestlers I have verified are REAL on MySpace.com. MySpace is a huge, multimillion member community that is not well policed and fakes abound. I have started to verify who is and isn't real on there and have several names of wrestlers and divas from mostly TNA and indies and a few from WWE (Not many are on there as of now) that I could give you so you won't waste your time talking to a fake.

But I need to know if anyone is interested in a list (which will be added to as I continue to verify people) of these people and where you can find them on MySpace.

My poll question is:

Would you be interested in a list of wrestlers and divas from WWE, TNA, and the indies who are on MySpace.com? Only verified real names will be posted. Please click on one answer below.

Feel free to discuss this topic here as well. I get so many emails from people asking me if they are really talking to the legitimate wrestler or a fake and, sadly, most of the time, the legit wretsler writes me back or calls me back dumbfounded and has no clue he was having an intense conversation with anyone online.

I think we discussed this once online. I said something to the fact that you can be anyone or anything online? You should know I am the real deal, "The Greatest Wrestler wannabe of all time", and legitimately working toward that end. I posted me pretty mug in my profile for ya, and you can contact Playboy Buddy Rose or Colonel DeBeers for verification. Oh! I am sorry. You were talking about current SUCCESSFUL wrestlers. Gotcha! Lol, miss me in the chat room yet? Great idea though about posting the "real" ones though, would they be happy for you doing that? You could single-handedly drive a gazillion people to them therefore swamping the poor saps. Just a thought!

I think what you're proposing is an excellent idea, and in many cases, I can even help you with the verification process.

If you know of any legitimate sites/myspace accounts of wrestlers and divas, please email me.

I have a few I have to verify but I believe they are the real deals. Still, until I am 100% sure, I won't post them.

I think it's a great idea to put these out there, so people can have a one-stop shop for this kind of thing.

I think that this idea would be great, not been on myspace yet myself RL commitments have been taking all my online time up of late. So actually knowing ahead of the game some of the real wrestlers and some of the fake ones because we know who the real ones are would be great. Kids would love that as well.. Good idea Patty..

I just came across a few more I didn't know were there. Caught up with an old and dear friend in the business. I will continue to keep track of the people in the business, whether it is in the big promotions or indies and will post a list in a week or so. Then will add to it as more people are discovered.

MySpace is where it is at for the moment as far as networking and getting the word out about things which is why many workers are there. To network with fans and to interact with them. I rather enjoy it.

I do NOT enjoy the silly letters I get from guys asking me if I "webcam" though. I make it clear I am there to network and for friends. PERIOD. That's the downfall of that community. Everyone wants to hook up. And the fake celebrities. But I am verifying them one by one and there is quite an impressive list of workers on there and some divas as well.

I signed up for My Space, with all the talk lately and all. I thought I would check it out. So far I don't really care for it. Maybe it will grow on me over time, if I go back and spend time there that is, and that is a big "IF". I like Bella Online and On The Fringe WAY better, those are more my speed. Besides, if I want to get harrassed, all I have to do is open my mouth and talk, don't need unsolicited harrassment for that. It's a gift I have.
