Quote:
Joy in living is the goal
Of each awakening human soul
And when the joy is well perceived
The gift of living is received.
~Susan

Just thought I'd share one of my verses ...

[color:"orange"] [/color] This is great Susan. Do I have your permission to use this in a seminar/class I will be doing?
BTW...Where's the rest?

This thread is rather interesting and prompted a question. Every once in a rare while I will feel a sudden (and brief) inexplicable wave of pure joy. It is as physical as it is emotional or psychological. Does this sound like what you are describing?

It sounds like my experiences with joy, also. I usually then feel inspired to write something uplifting.

I found this link last week.
It explains a lot.
I've experienced all...mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional aspects...something from each category.
What do you think about this Susan? I just couldn't believe all the info here.

Yes, that link sure sums it up nicely! My experiences began with meditation many years ago.

Someone mentioned it is not the end result. I have found it is a great ladder for climbing and looking into and experiencing the divine heart of love and wisdom.

I just watched a Wayne Dyer video that speaks eloquently on Enlightenment amongst other things. It's called "Improve Your Life Using The Wisdom of the Ages". This is great. We can never stop growing so there's always something more.

Trish, that happens to me periodically, at random times. I know nothing about it. And, it happened a week or two after my daughter died, when I was in the depths of sadness and despair. All of a sudden it happened, this feeling of pure and utter joy. It came and went. I remember thinking how bizarre that it happened during such a sad time. How did it penetrate the sadness?

Firefly the core of yourself, the real you, is pure joy & although we can mask it with our grief sometimes it just shines out. It seems to me that your experience of joy was especially needed & came *because* of your deep sadness.

Right now I've carried out the action I knew was needed & knew would bring me much grief. I read a passage a few days ago that said that grief carves more space in the heart to contain joy. I hope it is right because mine is the size of a bucket right now! I've written how I'm feeling in my personal development diary this morning. The last entry was at the start of March- I've neglected it. I'd channeled one of my main Guides back then. He'd told me to do exactly what I've done now, but I'd completely blocked it out for over a month & forgotten I'd ever written it. I guess it was stuff I really didn't want to hear & didn't feel strong enough to carry out at that time. It was quite a shock to see the guidance sitting there in black & white!
