Someone once said that I looked a bit of a fat elephant once, but I'm sure it was just the underpants I was wearing. I replied "Don't you dare call me overweight mother! Look out everybody, I'm about to blow my trousers off in merriment at mothers sarcasm."

That showed her. She had to go into the home after that.

I'm uninsultable, it's true.

I just happen to use a wheelchair. I also just happen to like outrageous clothes (wheelchair or no!). A woman came up to me and said, "my son is in a wheelchair too - he'd love your hat". What the hell has wheels gotta do with it?

Gee, someone spoke to ME instead of my husband - wow!

This is an advertisement for instant coffee, in the UK...
On the premise that even if it's freeze-dried and in a jar, it's still honest-to-goodness, the real McCoy...

Two women out shopping, one tries on a dress...
She's looking at it from all angles in the changing room... Mirrors everywhere.... smooths out the wrinkles, and asks:

"Does this dress make me look fat?"

her friend, (presumably the coffee drinker) replies -

"No - your fat makes you look fat."

"Nescaf - you can't hide what's authentic."

Any sentence that begins with "Now don't take this personal" or "It's just business, but...". Is there any way other than personal to take someone's put-down of me, my looks, my opinions, etc.?
