Greetings,

I am trying to find [color:"red"] [/color] for my health education site (PatientSchool.net). I am not sure about the best way to go about obtaining sponsors. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,
Doctor Maria

Start with your friends and associates, ask other Doctor's offices and your suppliers to sponsor your web page

Hi!

Sorry, I missed this post earlier! There are tons of things you can do get sponsors or advertisers. For a website, Google Adwords is one of the quickest ways to get advertising on your site, but there's not a lot of money made until you're pretty well established with lots of traffic to click on the ads. Building traffic is a whole other thing. . .

You can also do your own advertising/sponsorship programs and you already have a great beginning target list: drug and other medical supply companies who call on doctors all the time! LOL--seems like everytime I'm at the doctor's, so is a medical rep. But, I really like free samples!

I just finished putting together a Gala for children's health care -- we got about $200,000 worth of sponsors. What worked for us is tying very specific benfits to different giving levels. In your pitch letter, be very clear as what you can offer at different levels.

Also, you'll never know what you get until you ask. We had one $25,000 sponsorship come in just because we sent them an invitation to the event.

Good luck!
