It was just so stupid, you almost had to laugh. But at the same time realize how awful it really was....

Anyone who watches old, bad movies by John Waters, the "KING" of the bad "B" movies appreciate his work because his movies are so bad, their good. Vince is no John Waters....

How about all the Voodoo/Occult gimmicks we've had to put up with? Papa Shango, the Boogey Man, etc

It's not like it's Vinces only card trick though.
The man is sometimes genius sometimes mentally impaired.

Lately, yes, I am starting to think he is veering to the insane side more than the genius side. But he's having fun and making a ton of money so I suppose he doesn't much care what people think of him.

Think of the good Vince is doing for the wrestling world. With sub-par storylines, and old, boring feuds that just won't end, enough true wrestling fans are getting fed up enough to seek their wrestling entertainment elsewhere, ie: TNA, ROH and the indie scene is making a comeback. That is all a good thing.

I must admit Vince has me confused.Is he really the egomaniacal despot he appears to be or is this all persona, and behind the scenes he's a really nice, humble guy? Does he just believe he's giving people the juicy, shock - value addictive entertainment they want or has he totally lost the plot and we are in fact watching his psyche go into slow motion car- crash mode?
And just what was he implying when Shelton Benjamin was at eye- level with his groin, begging not to have to put his title on the line at Backlash, and he said he liked to see people on their knees performing? Nah...surely not! I just have a very dirty mind....don't I?

I don't know if you have a dirty mind or not, but Vince couldn't have spelled it out more clearly if he, well,spelled it out.
I have heard a couple points of view about Vince personally. Either he is an ego-eccentric who has lost, and has been losing, all sense of reality for quite some time now, or, and I hope he is more like this, someone who can actually be kind-hearted. I don't remember who said this, but someone who worked for Vince at one time said that there are more then a few people Vince put to work for no other reason then they needed a hand. Obviously these people have some talent, but maybe at the time WWE was going in a different direction then what these people offered. Again, I don't know personally of his character, but if I had to guess I would say he may very well be a mixture of the two.

Vince's family, friends and co-workers have to take some Heat for Vince's actions too.

He's been WAY off base and offensive so many times, and yet they all go along with it. All Vinces angles about him having it off with some of the Divas, right in front of Linda just to name one. Now that should'a been a wake up call. But no, they just cower and let him get even more "creative".

If Vince stood back a little and saw what was happening, would he realize?

I just watched the God/Shawn angle start last night. (Bali is behind, we call it Jam Karet = Rubber Time).
Anyway, If I have to put up with at least another month of this [censored], I think I might just tune out for a while and watch my 3 month old offerings of TNA. (Even more Jam Karet than WWE RAW).

By the way, Reddevillish, just for the record. Jacob wrestled with an Angel all night (not God) for a blessing. The Angel only touched his hips and they were dislocated.
