LMAO at this whole thing! It may be God's first tag team match, but it won't be the first time He's wrestled. In the book of Genesis, (I don't remember chapter and verse!) He wrestles a guy named Jacob! Takes Him a whole night to beat him too, as I recall! Jacob ended up with a dislocated hip.

I think it is ridiculous and Vince is definitley pushing the envelope as far as he can.

I'm surprised the American Family Association isn't getting involved. After all they are condemning Wal-Mart for selling the movie "Broke Back Mountain"

Anyway, I mentioned this in a reply to a post a few days ago about the match and I feel it's going to go down this way:

Shawn will be out of the ring for whatever reason, probably due to profuse bleeding, and will not be able to return or will accidentally tag God in and Vince will end up pinning God and then have the "bragging rights" about being more powerful than God now or some ridiculous thing like that.

Thank God for TNA anyway.

Can anyone see Vince taking "air" bumps and looking all shocked like a ghost hit him? Just bumping around with no one in the ring. The scary thing is, I CAN see Vince doing that.

It may make some laugh but I will not think that is funny. As someone mentioned, keep religion and politics out of it so we can enjoy wrestling without having to feel so uncomfortable.

Ok, as of tonights RAW, with Vince in the Church, and the stupid "10 Commandments" I can now say that WWE has sank to new lows. And he did act in a blasphemous manner. I hope he does get struck down by GOD himself.

I'm not a Christian, and I do apologise if anyone finds my flippant attitude offensive.Can you just imagine if HBK were a Muslim and Vince challenged Allah or Mohammed in this way, though? There'd be a fatwah out on him by now!

It's quite odd that HBK is allowing this storyline to go on. I know Vince is the boss but Shawn has stroke and, if he felt that it was against his religion, I am not sure that Vince would continue. Then again, this is Vince's way of creating a "buzz" which hasn't happened. The media just shakes their heads and moves on now. No one is shocked by his attempts at shocking stunts now.

I see a Shane turn coming very soon......

Oh, that is so true. Especially in todays politically correct world. In fact, I am suprised there isn't more of a "Backlash" from the religious community over this, though personally the only thing on me that is offended is my eyes. THIS ANGLE IS TERRIBLE!

I haven't heard a word from any religious activists about this angle. Maybe they all tuned out long ago when Trips was faking having sex in a coffin with Katie Vick or when UT killed Paul Bearer by drowning him in a vat of cement or when Hussan brought his terrorists in with beheading tools in hand or when Mark Henry was with a transvestite and later with Mae Young who gave birth to a hand or when Edge and Lita had sex in the ring or when he Kat took her top off because she was so excite on a PPV and exposed herself or maybe when Billy and Chuck were going to get married then said booya, it was a trick and we're not gay after all, or when....you get the point. There is very little left that WWE CAN do at this point to cause people to put time and effort into fighting them. And that time and effort all goes toward giving WWE the buzz they want and the curiosity seekers hooked.

Even the Tim White Suicide Videos are just overlooked.

I guess we fans are so used to WWE that we don't get shocked by much (I DO hate any anti troop talk though) and outsiders don't even take the time to see what WWE is doing anymore.

Yes, WWE has pushed the envelope so far, so often that we are desensitised to the goings-ons up in Stamford. But, if I remember correctly, WWE originally left USA Network because they were trying to censor too much, since they moved back they seem to have free reign to do whatever they want to do. I wonder how much of the old guard at USA have moved onto other jobs, and the new people just let it happen knowing that WWE sells a lot of advertising for them. Go figure.

I agree that this angle is pretty offensive, but please tell me im not the only one who laughed at the Holy water Triple H impression. Man did i feel bad afterwards!
