Ok, Patty, I know you know, and all us wrestleheads want to know what you know. But we won't tell anyone that we know what you know ya know?, so what is it? What did Randy Orton do, hmm?

Well, he wrestled on Smackdown but was put in his place twice (you will see what I mean) and they announced a match for him for next week so his so called suspension doesn't seem so bad. I assume they will have him lose next week and then I don't know...go away, quit, have an injury angle.
It is fairly clear he is upset having to job to Rey and so they made him do it again and will again next week. Ha.
But other than that, if I knew what Randy did, I would never say until it became public. I'm respectful like that.
Lets just say, he needs to get his priorities straight or he may lose the best job he ever will have.
Maybe he begged for forgiveness and they gave him a second chance but it seems unlikely WWE would have text messaged everyone announcing it if they had second thoughts.
I can say it wasn't a result of the drug testing last month because no one will be punished for the results. It was a baseline and the next tests have to show diminishing amounts of steroids or drugs in their system or then they will get in trouble. This is NOT to say Randy does roids or drugs, I am just saying even if it was a case of the drug test coming back positive, this suspension would not be from that.
Clearly it was also not because he was in no condition to wrestle because he did. So, it sounds like only one of two things but I will tell you when I can.

I have faith the details will come out, although I do feel somewhat ashamed I want to know so bad. It shouldn't matter, and the WWE could have announced it after he was suspended, but put an injury spin on it. (To protect his privacy.) But I guess I could chalk it up to the rubber necker syndrome seen at car crash sites, you don't want to look lest you see something horrible, but you just can't help yourself. I do respect your policy of not reporting details until they were made public, I wish more people with privlidged information had the same values, I wouldn't want this done to me!
(My neck is rubber and I am looking though, shame on me!)

I hate how they put it out there that he was suspended and just leave it at that. I know they can't go into great detail, for privacy reasons and all, but I do think it is kinda unfair on him that all this speculation is swirling around now. Although that maybe a part of the punishment itself. And I can't say I'm not dying to know myself - my neck is as rubber as the next person's!
Little umbrellas get the party started right!

To all wrestling fans: In the past we have forgiven wrestlers for everything from drug abuse and alcoholism to just plain being rude Hey I am not a big Randy Orton fan but isn't time we just forgive after all no matter what he's done he is still a good wrestler and God only knows we have forgiven others for much worse mistakes and we still love them. : smartkat7@yahoo.com

Well I'm also dying to know what he's done! The speculation will probably enter realms so far beyond what the real reason is, that when we do eventually find out what it's all about, we will all utter a collective " Ohh ... is that all?" :

(I was told...) He was just ticked off because he didn't get the belt when Batista went down and that they moved Kurt over. He wanted to be the star of SD. Then he learned he wouldn't get the belt at WM and he would end up pinned which made him madder. Apparently, he has been having a lot of problems backstage and several people have talked to him about his attitude and there were a few punishments given (quietly) to get him to realize that he has to be a professional no matter what he likes and dislikes.
He continued to have a tude and work stiff and WWE just decided enough was enough and did the suspension thing. The announcing it to all is more of a humiliation thing than anything. They could have done an injury angle to cover for it but WWE wanted people to know that Orton was out of line.
They also obviously wanted their workers to know that no one is exempt from punishment (Well, almost no one) and this sends a message to everyone to work professionally even if you hate your push or lack of. Or do what Christian and Tomko did and leave. It worked out great for Christian and probably will work for Tomko.
I actually applaud WWE for this since, when I worked in WCW, no one had the guts to say anything to the inmates running the asylum and it ended up with the workers running the place (and we all know where WCW is now).
I just hope it is fair across the board and that, if someone higher up or who has been there longer does the same things, he, too, will be punished the same way.
As far as forgiving Orton, sure. HBK, who was my first favorite and remains one of my favs, would have been sent home for 5 years if they did that stuff back then. His attitude was crazy. Randy is young, just what, 24? He was on top and slid down and is ticked about it. But he has to mature some. He has had some other accusations against him by several divas and others so he needs to remember to toe the line and no one (almost....) is exempt from punishment if they go too far with the attitude and ego.
I still think there is a bit more to this than just attitude, however.....

Oh, Patty, you can't do that to us! I tried to read past the first "(Almost everybody)" comment but you are toying with my emotions here! I think I know of who you are talking about in the almost catagory, but since you see fit to keep it silent, there must be a reason, so I'll follow suit.
And you think it's a bit more then just attitude comment at the bottom.
I asked Buddy Rose about some of this stuff, and he don't know a thing. Either you guys are stone walling me, or you have more and better privlidged info then even he does!

Orton has been fined several times in the last several months for calling divas the C word. He has had diva trouble for a while and several have spoke out against him. Apparently he has a habit of using that word to describe or to insult women and has been talked to and fined for it but hasn't stopped.
This contributed to his suspension.
