How come there isn't any evidence that Jesus ever existed? Just hearsay. Roman emperors had their faces on the currency. Most historical figures are historical because you cannot rewrite history without them. You can rewrite history without Jesus. He may have been a ideal in oral and written literature that only became a person through folklore.
I don't think that you can rewrite history without Jesus and there are plenty of evidence that Jesus exist. Maybe you meant physical evidence. Well, there are a lot of other historical figures that we have no physical evidence of.
