I just finished watching the Hall Of Fame induction for the class of 2006, the first two hours streamed on WWE.com, then the hour on USA, and it was a very surreal experience. I have to admit that the induction of Eddie Guerrero brought some tears to my eyes when Eddies wife Vickie accepted on Eddies behalf. I could feel Eddie in the air, and when Chavo said that Eddie lives on in everyones heart, I couldn't help but reach for the kleenex. The shots of the crowd, everyone had a tear, and you could see that after six months his death is still very much on everyones mind. It was beautiful.

I watched all three hours as well. Is Sherri wacky or what? lol

I cried during Eddie's induction but I totally expected to. I am not over his needless death and not even getting close to feeling content about his passing. The minute they started showing the vignette, I teared up. Chavo comes across so well when he speaks from the heart. I knew/know Chavo not as well as I knew Eddie but enough to know he is a heck of a good guy.

Benoit also does well when speaking from the heart.

Seeing Vicki and the girls made my heart hurt. She was so broken up. <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

But Eddie sure does belong in the HOF and I am glad he will forever he there.

Bret was good but it seemed like he still didn't close the book on his career. I mean, it didn't feel like a good bye. That is why I wish he would go to WM and get the cheers and say good bye right. But he won't.

All in all, it was a good show with no kayfabe bull and no VINCE!

I felt bad that every time HBKs name was mentioned, he got booed. Will it ever end? If Bret can move on and thank WWE for what they gave him, the fans should also accept that it's 10 years almost and Bret has moved on and so should they.

All in all, the whole 3 hours was fun although a few went way too long on the webcast version.

I also felt it was totally low to boo Cena they way they did. You can hate him but this is a HOF ceremony and he is a person and not in the ring. Fans really need to separate the wrestler from the person and know when it is cool to react that way. This event wasn't the place to act that way. I hope Cena has a thick skin. Tomorrow's going to be tough to get through. I HOPE he turns heel!!

Oh, NO! I just sat here and wrote a very in depth synopses in answer to Patty's post, but when I got done it said my post was no longer valid. Is there any justice in this world???

I am sorry that happened. It happens to me elsewhere all the time and I go crazy. Now, I copy everything before clicking post, just in case.
