Good Morning Everyone,

I am having an issue with the Fat Bottom Bag from The Stitch N [censored] Happy Hooker Book.

I have finished All of the rows and I am now on the handle flap part, but I am not sure of what the row ends are and why the pattern does not say that we have to seam the sides. I don't think that I have to do that I am just not sure of what I am doing wrong or if I am reading something incorrectly. I am enclosing a picture of what I have done so far. If anyone can help I would appreciate it.

Thanks
Thembi

Have you checked her website for corrections yet ? I have heard that the book has a few mistakes, which is a normal thing.

I bought this book just recently and decided to make the handbag but never got around to getting the yarn. After reading the instructions and looking at the photo of your crocheted piece it seems to me that you didn't decrease where it says to. For me it would be easier to crochet this bag with a solid color yarn. This bag doesn't need to have the sides sewn up. Page 156 it says to "Cut four 12" strands of contrasting yarn (CC) etc. Did you make the Handle flap separetly? Hope this helps.
