Fascinating, I got 30% correct. I am a former workaholic- had a crazy consulting job that expected I spend the summer season at the office 12 hrs seven days a week. Left for a startup that was totally lacksadisical everyone leave at 4 pm on Fridays. That didn't work out bc the company was a boondaggle.

Now that I'm back on track with a job that makes sense for me, am trying to negotiate time. Also am in a serious relationship, which wasn't a case in the consulting days, so am trying to sort out what kind of hours I want to work independent of my boyfriend's advice to work the bare bones hours. . . Would love to hear others perspective on this.

The quiz was hard for me because I work from home -- so I think that automatically makes me a workaholic <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

But, I actually like what I do so I don't find it stressful. I found the question about sleep interesting - I've never had problems sleeping. Sometimes it takes me a while but that's generaly because my face is glued to the tv! LOL!

Well, that was interesting.

I have a full-time job (40 hours a week) that I like, but have no trouble leaving at the end of the day. I work another 20 hours or so a week doing outside consulting, but again have no trouble leaving that. Have two web-sites I'm hosting and am co-writing a book with my mom. I'm also trying to finish up graduate school. And in there somewhere I have 2 kids and family.

So... I don't know if I'm a "work" aholic, so much as I am a "have do do something all the time" a holic.

Imagine working 12 hours non-stop. That's me. I love my job and that was why I am able to work that long without getting bored or tired. Of course, they are breaks in between, consuming my meals, tv and so on. Have to juggle between work and family...
