Hmm, that's gotta be in the hall of fame of weird conversation starters at a party, eh. But lucky you to have such great feet.

I have flat feet. I once had a co-worker whose feet with an arch so pronounced, anything that was lower than 2 inches hurt her feet. So she felt good in heels.

The kicker was she was incredibly petite with size 4 and 1/2 feet so hard trouble finding anything to fit her.

I am the odd one in my family. My husband has so many shoes he should be a woman. I have very few pairs. I wear a size 9 1/2 or 10 and can't find shoes that don't make my foot look bigger than it already is. I have always hated trying on shoes because my foot is so long and narrow. My mother in law and her sisters collect shoes. My daughter who is 22 months already cries when she wants to wear a certain pair of shoes and doesn't get to.

Im not that particular with shoes but they are a necesity once I do go out with a taller guy. Being merely 5'2" in height, just imagine me out with a guy on the range of 5'7" - 6' that i meet on webdatedotcom? well my habit is more of going out on dates and the shoes come in for "leverage". In my opinion the habit forming of shoe shopping doesn't affect all of us. It's a to each her own thing!

I have two major difficulties... I am a European size 34/35... english size 2 1/2 to 3, but most size threes are slightly too big anyway...I'm sure they're a moveable feast, shoe-sizes - !!

My other more pressing problem, is that I am only four feet ten inches; a,d used to enjoy wearing high heels, though not so tall so as to make me totter like an ungainly new-born foal...!
But those days are behind me now, and it causes me to lament....
I suffered a slipped disc in a particularly viloent way (I fell down a flight of stairs) and consequently, my spinal cord suffered compaction....the sciatic nerve in my left leg was damaged, and now I can't elevate my foot to wear heels any higher than half an inch.
My wardrobe is halved. i can't wear elegant dresses, because they need a well-turned ankle with a pretty shoe as an accessory...
I can't even wear some skirts....And even some trousers have been tossed aside....

You have no idea what a sadness this has brought me.
i can't find low, elegant shoes for love nor money.

Ah well... another thing to lay aside....

Everything is transitory, nothing is permanent....

I started seriously considering this question when I started watching Sex in the City...
For girls like me who can't afford $700 for a pair of shoes to die for, Payless has made life a lot more fun. I like to accessorize no matter whether I'm going dressy or casual so $20-$30 for a pair of fun shoes that will last me a year or two is just the ticket. My mom told me when I was just little that if she had money she would buy a matching purse and shoes for every outfit. It must've stuck. I certainly believe that the whole look can be wrecked by the last thing a woman puts on as she heads out the door.
(PS Rae, when I was in Hollywood this winter I went into Frederick's and tried on a pair of fabulous red fetish shoes... why oh why did I leave without them? Every woman should have one pair at least of "wicked" shoes! )

Now you see Trishh....
If 'Eve' in your Avatar, had been wearing a pair of sexy fetish shoes - ya know...Even God might have given her a second chance - especially if they'd been made of snakeskin....

Love shoes..........Got to have coloured shoes to match the outfit. The best part if you keep them long enough they come back in fashion. Very pleased that pointed toes and high heel are out though......Getting a bit over the hill for those now but loved them in the 60's.

I'm a shoe fanatic...it's a genetic trait I inherited from my mother who has hundreds of pairs of shoes. And I love high heels - love what they do for my legs. I also tend to kick my shoes off at work though so a lot of times I walk around barefoot, and I have a pair of running shoes in my office in case I'm going to be doing a lot of walking.

I think my favorite shoes, in winter and fall, are my knee high black leather boots. They have about a 3 1/2 inch heel and look really cute with tights and a short skirt.

Mother always said that even when things seem bad there's someone else who's having a worse day. Like being stung by a bee or getting a splinter or being chained to the wall in someone's sex dungeon.
