Yesterday I was at the bank and glanced over at the teller window to my left a few feet from me. I immediately recognized a friend of a friend, but didn't say anything. Why? Because I noticed she had a child with her, that was obviously hers with the way the teller was speaking to her. I never was great friends with this gal, but I did know her and have had conversations with her when our mutual friends would invite us over. This being several years ago, I probably WOULD have normally said SOMEthing to her, if anything just a "Hi, how are you?" just to be friendly. But as soon as I saw the child, I just pretended I didn't see her. Do you guys ever do this too, or is it just me?

Sure, and I usually don't associate with my friends with kids until the kids are older and less clingy.

Yep, I'm ashamed to say, but I do that all the time.
