I'm working on a children's fantasy story about a friendly dragon. It was an idea I had last year and it's now completely sidelined the science fiction series I was working on <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Much more fun though.

I'm new to Bellaonline and am glad to see other fiction writers here. I have 3 published novels and one due out June 2007. I write horror/paranormal, and the June title is a paranormal mystery.
Do any of you attend writr's conferences? They can be expensive, but well worth it for the networking and contacts.

I have attended a few of the writers' conferences and festivals here in Melbourne, but been a bit disappointed with the lowish level of professionalism shown both by the organisers and the attendees. I'm saving up to go to a science fiction/fantasy convention next.

Scarlett, I liked your website--perfect appearance and atmosphere for a horror writer! Although my books are romantic women's fiction (but not romances--big difference!) I'm a major Stephen King fan.

BTW, there's a reference in my first book to the characters watching "Dark Shadows" after school when they were kids. I loved that show too! ;-)
