Hi, everyone. I'm new to this community.
I'm a Certified Reiki Practitioner and interested in finding out how many of you have utilized Reiki for stress reduction?

If you are not sure what Reiki is -- or how it's used -- please feel free to check my website: The Healing Energy for info...

Looking forward to hearing about others' experiences with Reiki as a stress reduction method -- kind of a 'view from the other side', if you will.

Thanks,
Jan

Hello, FashionFiend! Pleased to meet you. Reiki is a marvelous form of relaxation/stress reduction. As a CRP (Certified Reiki Practitioner), I can tell you that each time I GIVE a treatment, I GET a treatment, too. Pretty good deal! If you are interested in treatments, you can find a CRP near you by going to IARP . (If you live near Boston, MA, I can help. Please let me know what you think of my site -- enough information, not enough, too much?

Namaste,
Jan

Pleased to meet you too.

I am in the DC area so not exactly your neck of the woods.

Your site is really well done. The design is nice, love the stone pics, and the info. is just the right amount on the main page and then sub areas.

Did you design the site yourself or consult a professional?

Thanks for the kind words. I designed it myself, using one of the 'you build it' web site services. It did take me a while to hit on what I felt was the right combination of color, photos, and page layout. The info was easier -- I really enjoy Reiki and want others to enjoy it, too.

Hi. I'm really interested in Reiki. I have a chronic pain condition that I have been told would be helped by treatments, like Reiki.

I looked at your website and it has some great information, but I'm not sure where you are at. I live in Wisconsin. If you are not near me, can you refer me to someone in my area?

Thanks a lot!
Maceddie

Hello, Maceddie! I'm glad you enjoyed my site -- and hopefully learned some things about Reiki at the same time. Reiki is wonderful for chronic pain management, in addition to a lot of other things.

I am in MA -- so you can find a Certified Reiki Practitioner at International Association of Reiki Professionals. Click on "Find A Reiki Practitioner" at the top of the page.

Namaste, and Reiki blessings!

Reiki can be passed on at distance. If any of you has a serious problem, post here describing your problem. I will give you reiki from my place. I only need to know your name and your problem. Nothing else. But unless there is something serious, I don't have time. For anybody with a serious problem, I will find time and give treatment from distance.
