A close friend gave me a Tete-A-Tete Daffodil in a small planter. They looked beautiful, midly laying down. They next day they were alkl standing straight up, really cool. A few days after that they died. Does this type of plant have to be put in a garden to last? How long do you think they should last in a planter from the store? If I cut them back, will they grow?

Tete-A-Tete Daffodils are bulbs. Once bulbs bloom, you should let the green leaves grow to give them strength to bloom again the next year. Plant them in a sunny spot in your garden and they should come back next spring.
