A couple months ago, I asked if anyone knew where to buy yarn in the bulk. I now going to ask if anyone can tell me where I can buy 4 ply worsted weight by the pound.

You can buy lots of yarn in pounds or balls or skeins, at Webs, on the net at www.yarn.com, you have to look in all parts of the site. Look under knitting yarns, also under Garage sale. I buy almost all the yarn I use from them, always by the pounds. You have to purchase at least $30.00 at a time, but you get a nice discount the more you buy, up to 25%. I usually get at least 50 pounds at a time, they have a real fast turn around time of about 3 days, a little longer if they are having a sale, after first purchase you will start getting a book from them several times a year, plus they send alerts, when they have a sale.

I believe Red Heart sells "pounder's" too. Do a yahoo search.

Caron sells one-pounders of solid colors. I get them at A.C. Moore, but Michaels or Hobby Lobby might have them too.
