My latest articles talk about celebrating the full moon both generally and specific to the month.

What are some other things that you do to celebrate the full moon?

I celebrate the full moon as the reflected light of God. To remind us that even in darkness he is with us.

This is probably way too much information, but I always ovulate during the full moon..... which puts me in a... er... celebratory mood, so to speak? Ahhh, sweet euphemism....

But frankly, I think "that" is probably the most natural celebration of the full moon, there's got to be more than just a physics-based reason that women's cycles go with the moon, don't you think?

Did you know that they did an experiment at the University of Missouri where they used clams? They found that after a period of adjustment they started to open and close with the tide as if it were rising and falling in Missouri. Amazing huh? Perhaps your "cycle" is affected by the moon. Many scientists believe that without the moon there would not be the variety of life that the Earth currently sustains.

Most women's cycles are affected by the moon.... and by each other. Did anyone else ever live in a house full of women? When I lived in one, sometime around the 15th, all the men in our lives would suddenly disappear.... I can't imagine why.

Megan you are too funny......well I think they all disappeared to plant their crops since that is the best time to plant them....ok this probably isn't the real reason they disappear, hehehehehhe. We celebrate with thankfullness for everything we have been overly blessed with. My son and I can always see her face very clearly my husband has never seen her face. And believe it or not we have seen various emotions such as happiness, sadness etc. on her face.

A couple of girlfriends and I get together each full moon, and pick something to work on. We try to go with the energies of that particular moon, but sometimes it not easy figuring out something fun to do that coincides with the moon! Eva - I can see the faces too! I love looking at the moon. I could sit and stare at it for hours I swear. lol and when it gets warmer I just might!

Deanna - I try to do them a few days ahead but depending on how busy I am they get a little closer sometimes! lol
