ahh no you don't understand...i am lvl 99 and i have mastered every dresssphere possible other than the ones you have to learn extra things on, like blue bullet, and so on...in the songstress dressphere you can learn every move and there will be 2 slots left...you learn those from some kind of sidequest, one of them cancels out magic, other does something to the mp, i forget what though......i need to know how to get those 2 moves, i can't find the sidequest

I think....think....when you defeat the machina experiment in Djose temple, you get the mamba of silence. I havent played the game in a while, but I know I got it, I think you just need to keep beating the Machina experiment.

Maybe this is what you need?
To get the Magical Dances Volume I, get all the Crinsom Spheres. Then enter the Den of Woe in Mushroom Rock Road with all Crinsom Spheres and battle Rikku, Paine, Baralai, Gippal and Nooj. Eventually, Nooj will drop the key item.
For Magical Dances Volume II, defeat the Experiment in its early stage. Then, get all the manuals, get the Defense, Attack and Special Assemblys at Bikanel Desert, repair the Experiment and fight it until it reach Level5. (Note: You only can use a Manual once, so be caution!) If you defeat the Lv5 Experiment, you will get the Magical Dances Volume II. If you get both of them, your Songstress can learn MP Mambo and Magical Masque.
Good luck!

So is the gameplay in X-2 the same as it is in X? I havent played it yet, but im going to soon. I see that it still takes place in Spira, but is there still the power grid? and same aeons and all that stuff? would you say that it is just as good as X? just curious, didnt mean to steal anybodys thread.

hello again <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> - i actually bought X-2 a month ago to play when i finished 10... there are no aeons, and now there are these things called dresspheres which determines what kind of attacks they have whether it's magic, guns (machina, oh no!! haha), white magic, swords, etc. i've heard it's kind of a girly game though since the three main characters are women (Yuna, Rikku and someone new named Paine). there are no overdrives, no overkills, no sphere grid and no aeons. Check out this site I found on X-2: http://www.ffx2.net/?id=main

there is no power grid, there are levels, all the way up to 99 (never knew why they don't just go to 100)...and you get dressspheres, which give you different form of attacks, from magic, to guns and swords, its a good game, but instead of the turn taking in battles, its no waiting time action play, they attack you even while your attacking..so you'll need to get used to it

Its a great game.
I started playing FFX when I was first introduced to Final Fantasy, and I didn't want to start X-2 because I was only starting to get used to FFX. But once I finished that, it got really boring and I started X-2. Once you play that, you really begin to despise FFX. You can skip scenes, and I bet we all agree when we say Yuna and Tidus in X really really used to annoy you when you couldn't skip the scene, especially if you were playing on your second time through. FFX-2 is a bit of a girly version because of all the girls, but for experienced FFers, the game system is much better.
Final Fantasy 12 comes out this year (Not 11, that was the online version) and that has real time battle like games like Tekken and Dynasty Warriors, instead of CTB and ATB like X and X-2 so that's different again. I wonder what the levelling up system will be for that one, but I'm looking forward to it.
